'Uthman ibn 'Affan

عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه

A gentle, wealthy merchant of Quraysh who spent his fortune on Islam, married two of the Prophet's daughters ﷺ, and as the third caliph gave the Muslims one agreed written copy of the Qur'an. He was killed in his own house, refusing to let Muslims shed blood to defend him.
