'Abdullah ibn Muhammad رضي الله عنه
The Good and the Pure
'Abdullah was the youngest child of the Prophet ﷺ and Khadijah, born in Makkah after his brother al-Qasim and his four sisters. Many of the biographers say he was born after the revelation began, and that this is why he was given the names al-Tayyib, "the good", and al-Tahir, "the pure".
He did not live long. He died while still an infant, and his parents lost a second son. The boy whose names spoke of goodness and purity left the world before he could do anything at all except be loved.
A child's worth is not measured by what he achieves; 'Abdullah was loved, named with beautiful names and mourned.
